The Spacing Concept, or mini curl concept is a great way to get a first down or throw your opponent off. Mini curls are great timing routes and can be deadly against a zone defense. They can also be deadly during short yardage situations. You may need around 3 yards, but your opponent has amazing run D, so what do you do? You run a spacing play and get those 3 yards.

It is, I like the short curl for a quick 4 yard gain.

yea exactly, and if you have a good wr, you can easily get 8 or more yards on this play

5 short curls vs zone and somebody will be wide open.....every now and then tho you get lucky and get your outside WR wide open on this and after that its make the corner miss and your gone
